BUT THAT WAS IN ANOTHER COUNTRY
But That Was In Another Country is a short story revolving around a young girl's return to Thailand after twelve years and her experience with nostalgia and disenchantment as she discovers that her memories of her childhood escape no longer hold up to stark realities.
The book itself is made up of a series of typographic compositions that take the reader through the story using various interactive components such as fold-outs, posters, and pages printed on matte translucent vellum. The compositions address the relationship between words and meaning in addition to exploring ways in which words/text are read and interpreted.
The book was assembled and stab bound by hand with a front and back cover of white linen paper.
